Intrams ow-fayb fastbreak

Wednesday Night
A milestone event took place in Cdk at exactly 8:00 pm of September 21,2005.The school held it’s Mr.and Ms.Intramurals2005, which waswon byour very own Paramedical candidates- Kat and Winston. Like atraditional search, it’s needed preferred votes from a handful ofjudges. Six guys and six gals vied for the title.
Thursday Morning
8:30a.m. The parade started and participated in by every departmentwith it’s colorful banners. There were six teams- the Paramedicalparamedics, Criminology Crim fighters, ComputerHackers, EducationMentors, Technology Techniques and HRM chef. The assembly area was atthe city gym then culminatedat Cdk gym. My body gets sweat after twohours walk.Kakapagod.
Thursday Afternoon
The games began 1:00pm after few instructions. Fans cheered. Theathletes played with intensity for top honors. After check-in at thegreen kiosk, I was watching women volleyball with my friends betweenour very own Paramedics and Hackers. Hackers came out as victors forthat game. Paramedics have already no chance because theofficersfollowed single elimination process. Itwas followed by mendivision. I was excited. I confidently uttered “Mananalo na talagaParamedics rito.” But it was just turn sour when menComputer Hackers walloped the Paramedics, 25-24 in the decision game.On the other hand, Men and women of Paramedics in basketball bothwon.Wow! Galing!
Friday Morning
As the sun began to rise, anotherday of games commenced. Screaming, shouting and cheering fans were everywhere. Players dragged on, tryingto do the best they can. All were aiming to win from every department.Even the Faculty members were on the go. The speedy games were on.There were lots of games such as basketball, volleyball, dart, chess, pingpong, swimming, billiard, badminton, sepak takraw and marathon…
Friday Night
After an exhausting day of games, the students and mentors took a breakat gathered at the gym for URBAN BEAT Musical contest. Sad to say, Iwas not there. So I have no idea what to say about that night. As faras I know, it was the night for musics. The night featured song solo, duet and hip-hop modern dance competition. I miss the chance ofwitnessing it after all.

Saturday Morning
The last and final day of the Intramurals, every team tried theirbestto conquer the throne and to grab the champions title for the yearsbig event. Unluckily, mens basketball of paramedics miss their chanceto be part of the champpionship game when Crim defenders defeatedthem,87-78. Defenders dominated throughout the game erecting a ten pointlead against paramedics.
Saturday Afternoon
The Crim defenders grabbed the championship title. 91-90 againstTechnology department.I don’t knmow what happened to other games. That’s all.
Saturday Night
Again I was not there. It was the night ffor cheering competition, acoustic challenge and awarding ceremony. Cheering was one of thehighlights of the intramurals where stunning cheerers both males andfemales from six departments vied at the gymnasium. The technologydepartment won the said contest. The acoustic challenge followedafterwards. My classmate Roseanne texted me that in the last part ofthe program, the lights off. In short, BROWN OUT! The awarding ceremonywere not through as the night ended.
As usual the Intramurals ended with muscle pains, hoarsevoices, yetgreat smiles were still in the faces of everyone. Computerdepartment grabbed the championship title while Paramedical department- first runner-up. Congrats to all the winners and to all who havetried their best but unfortunately didn’t make it. Better luck nexttime. Were all winners and champions of sportmanship. The four dayduration created a significant mark among sports enthusiasts of Colegiode Kidapawan.

I received yesterday an inspiring short story on my mobile phone. Here it goes..A21 year old son ask his parent for a car on his birthday.Unfortunately, his father handed him a Bible. Instead of receiving it,he threw it away. Went mad and never returned home. He raised his ownfamily. Years passed, his parents died in a plane crash. He went to thefuneral and surprisingly he found the bible. He went on to the pages ofthe Bible. He noticed an envelop with a key and letter that read, ” Welove you son. The car is still in garage, love ma and pa.
Sad story pero nakakapulutan ng aral…

Ganid sa Tubo

Setyembre 12-

Blog… bloggging… bloghopping

Blog…Blogging…Bloghopping… An avenue where I can accomodate my thoughts. Where I can channel my angst, angry and complaints against the society, people around me and even myself. My tambayan from the times of elevating contradictions among classes in school… Where I became an errant, searching for adventure, for different values… During when I’m alone, I can’t remember, where there’s treat me as weak, if there’s oppression in society- NARITO PO AKO and face them through the point of pen like a sword. BABANGAIN KO SILA NG WALANG TAKOT AT WALANG ALINLANGAN… The time where I put my brains in their existence in good use… from the bottom of my hypothalamus… I blog to remember my memories, to share what’s happening into my life from others, to penned down my anxieties and happiness and develop my writing skill… To write is already to choose. It does not come by a chance; it’s by choice. And I don’t mean to harm those figures who want to be a focal character in some of my entries in this blog. HALIMBAWA, ANG MGA KALAPATI AT ANG INAHIN… Reality speaks… (?) Ha…ha… I didn’t notice how I got obsessed with blog, blogging and bloghopping. I didn’t even think a certain possibility of consequences… Who cares if I have a wonderful or heartbreaking day, my angst to Arroyo government, to my collegues, acquaintances, friends, classmates or to my teacher? Yup, blogging is an individualistic writing. And individualistic writing is just plain masturbation. SARILI MO LANG ANG PINAPAPALIGAYA MO.. I’m just wasted my time, effort and money. Huh! Enough of this sh*t blog Calm down, as I try to.. Err, uhm… I forgot… In this blog, I seek comfort …freedom …wearing not my mask …revealing the monster …controlled myself …found friends …worth satisfied …for free …for contentment …for hapiness …to impart gathered facts, ideas and opinions …stirs the imagination and gives rise to hopes and dreams. Why not blog? Why not blogging? Why not bloghopping? Why not cooperate? Why not write?Besides, we are all rational.

I found an interesting article (for me, as a student nurse… I don’t know if you like it… )…So better check it out by clicking “Men in Nursing” below… GOODLUCK!!!
“Men in Nursing”by Vicki Chung
Lingering stereotypes…It’s not always a Man’s World…Neutralizing the Gender Issue…Finding Strength in numbers…Refelcting the face of Society…I found this article when I’m searching for the reasons “why would I want to be a nurse?”…
My turn…

Why would I want to be a nurse?
I want to be a nurse because… there is a great demand for nurses abroad… nurses are being paid with high renumeration for their work.. I love nursing.. can give me a good life… can give people a good life they truly deserve… can enjoy the amount of time… become trusted member of the community… can give medical advice… respected profession … have unlimited opportunities for career development (they said)… My idol is my uncle who is happend to be a nurse.. I want to tour around the world… weh!
